Doppler ultrasound-assisted varicocele microsurgery
A varicocele is an enlargement of the veins within the spermatic cord and one of the most common correctable causes of male infertility. Doppler ultrasound-assisted microsurgery makes it possible to identify and ligate the affected veins with precision, while preserving the testicular artery and lymphatic vessels.
This approach lowers the risk of recurrence and of complications such as hydrocele, and can improve semen parameters and the chances of conception. It is an outpatient procedure with a fast recovery.
